One of our highest priorities is ensuring our customers' banking relationship is safe and secure. As a result, we wanted to inform you of a potential phishing scam.
We have recently learned that the phishing scam has been targeting random individuals and/or companies with a falsified e-mail with the subject line "Rejected ACH Transaction", and we wanted to make you aware of this.
The phishing e-mail appears to be from NACHA - The Electronic Payments Association and indicates that there is a problem with an ACH transaction originated by the e-mail recipient. The e-mail includes a link which redirects the individual to a fraudulent web page which mimics the
NACHA website and contains a link that is likely to include an executable virus with malware.
NACHA did not send this e-mail. Do not click on the link.
A copy of the e-mail is below for your information.
